Aarsleff Ground Engineering Ltd is the UK subsidiary of Per Aarsleff A/S, Denmark’s leading civil engineering contractor. Aarsleff are equipped to work on several types of site delivering specialist ground engineering solutions to solve technically challenging ground related problems in the UK and abroad.

In addition to driven and drilled pile foundations, they design and install specialist retaining walls such as sheet pile walls, contiguous pile walls and secant pile walls, as well as driven and drilled king post walls. Their expertise also comprises soil nail, anchoring, drilling and grouting work, augured piles, and restricted access piling – all adapted and value-engineered to the needs of the individual client and sector. Operating across the Energy, Marine, Residential, Infrastructure and Commercial construction markets, Aarsleff’s diverse portfolio has enabled their customers to enjoy several benefits, combined with cost-saving programmes.

Together with sister company Centrum Pile Ltd, their onsite manufacturing facilities are state-of-the-art, utilising the most advanced robot technology to build strong, and robust reinforced precast concrete piles.

Aarsleff’s in-house Design teams work at a high, international level enabling the company to develop new and alternative solutions in connection with the design of foundation and ground engineering projects.

Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB) is the design and build unit of global engineering consultancy Mott MacDonald. Our Design Leads are responsible for large projects or programmes of work, managing between one and three Project Leaders as well as specialist multi-discipline designers to deliver for our clients.

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be accountable for the design of a programme of water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects through the outline and detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover. You will be responsible for building a project team comprised of electrical, mechanical, civil, and process designers who will support your Project Leader. You will provide the direction and co-ordination to enable your project teams to complete the designs in accordance with the specifications, to programme and within budget.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your technical and management skills, grow your professional network, and provide you with excellent long-term potential to advance your career.

Candidate Specification

  1. Chemical Engineering or relevant Process Engineering related degree, preferably chartered.
  2. Experience and understanding of water and/or wastewater unit processes and treatment plant, with experience of delivering process design for wastewater projects.
  3. Experience of HAZOP studies as chair or team member would be advantageous
